Life has not
been the same for Veena Malik since she posed undressed for the FHM magazine. An
Indian Muslim body has now issued a fatwa against the Pakistani starlet
for her deeds. Bhopal based All India Muslim Tyohar (Festivals) Committee has
come out with the fatwa. There are more Muslim bodies that are unhappy
with the way Veena is behaving.
According to
the All India Muslim Tyohar (Festivals) Committee has said that they were
getting a lot of complaints about Veena Malik. Importantly, it is the
disrespect she showed for an institution as sacred as marriage – known as nikaah
in Urdu. Veena’s signing the contract with an entertainment channel has not
gone too well.
Majlis-e-Shura,
as the Muslim body in Bhopal is known as, has said that the activities being
carried out by Veena Malik was sending a negative signal to the young girls. It
was time they took some steps to stop this.
It now
remains to be seen what developments and effects this fatwa makes on the
Pakistani model. Her upcoming reality show Swyamvar 4 could also be at
risk.
