Bipasha Basu
was expected to do an item number in the film Zilla Ghaziabad. She was
in fact roped in the film for the very same reason. Vivek Oberoi was the male
leading cast opposite Bipasha in the film. As the item numbers are in great
demand, the makers of Zilla Ghaziabad wanted Bips in the song.
However, it
came as a shock to Vivek Oberoi when he came to know that Bipasha Basu has refused
the item song which she was expected to do with him and Sanjay Dutt. However,
he did not go into a lot of detail and not even bothered to know what the
problem could be.
But Bipasha’s
refusal has made her go empty-handed. She has now been neglected for the
leading role in the film which she was expected to do opposite Vivek Oberoi.
It was
actually an item song – Beedi Jalaile from the film Omkara made
by in Vishal Bhardwaj. That was the song that really kept Bips’ career going in
Bollywood. Interestingly, the song was filmed on her and Vivek.
