Dilip Kumar is fine after pneumonia ailment

Dilip Kumar had to be hospitalized at the Lilavati Hospital & Research Centre last night. Upon checking by the doctors, it was found that he has been suffering with pneumonia. One of his close friends said that the actor is okay now and that he is being given doses of antibiotics.

Udaya Tara Nayar, the actor’s close provided this information. He also added that Mr. Dilip Kumar was responding to the treatment and is recovering. As he is doing well, he was not kept in the ICU, but in the general ward. He also had his breakfast this morning.

As far as Udaya Tara Nayar, their family friend, is concerned, has also compiled the autobiography of the veteran actor titled The Substance and the Shadow.

Some days ago, there were rumors doing the rounds in the media fiercely that the actor had passed away. This news had to be terminated by Amitabh Bachchan himself coming out in the open refuting the rumors. This is the second time that Dilip Kumar had to face such death rumors.

Shammi Kapoor passes away at the age of 79

One of the legends from the Kapoor family – Shammi Kapoor passed away this morning (Sunday morning) at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. He was 79. He is survived by his wife, Neeladevi, son Aditya Raj. He also has a daughter Kachan Desai. His last riots will be performed on Monday morning.

Shammi Kapoor, who was born as Shamsher Raj Kapoor was the second son of Prithviraj Kapoor. Big wigs like Raj Kapoor, Dilip Kumar and Dev Anand were the other leading male stars of his time. Shammi Kapoor was also known as the Elvis Presley of India, due to his looks.

His career in Bollywood was a disastrous one as he had flops after flops. He had flop films in spite of working with heroines like Madhubala, Suraiya and Nalini Jaywant. He needed some success quickly that would also last long. However, his next film Tumsa Nahi Dekha turned his career on its head with stupendous success. In this film, Shammi Kapoor had a duck-tail style haircut.

We would no longer be able to hear the signature tune ‘Yahoooooooo’ ever again for which Shammi Kapoor was a rage.

Is Jiah Khan going for a name change?

What is in a name! Who said this famous line? It is me. Well, what difference would it make to William Shakespeare if he has already declared that there is nothing in a name? However, Jiah Khan would certainly mind it. Well, she is going for a change in her name for the second time now.

The beautiful lady was Nafisa before getting into Bollywood. For some reasons – best known to her, she changed her name from Nafisa to Jiah Khan. But now she is contemplating of going back to her original name. Why Jiah is going back to a name change is still unclear yet. But she is sure to retreat.

She is so serious about the change in her name that she even posted message on her Twitter account and asked her followers for their opinion. “Thinking of changing my name back to my original name Nafisa...what do you guys think? Needs some more opinions.”

It is not the first time that any Bollywood personality has gone for a name change. The legendary thespian Dilip Kumar’s original name is Yusuf Khan. The very recent example is of popular actor Akshay Kumar, whose original name is Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia.
