Are Mink Brar and Usha Bachchani new entrants in Bigg Boss?

Bollywood starlet Mink Brar is being rumored to be sent in the ‘House of Controversies’ – the Bigg Boss. Along with Mink Brar, there will be another starlet Usha Bachchani as well. But it should be mentioned once again that these are still rumors only and there is still time before the truth comes out.
But the ‘House of Controversies’ has been touted as the parivarik (family) show this time around. So, it is expected that there will be no (read less) dirty talks and violence as compared to the earlier seasons.
Coming back to the two ladies who are to enter the house, Mink Brar is the senior of the two ladies as she was launched way back in 1993 by the evergreen Dev Anand himself. The film in which she was launched was Pyar Ka Tarana.
Usha Bachchani has also got her share of publicity as well. She is better known for her negative roles on the small screen. Ek Ladki Anjaani Si, Sindoor and Kkusum are some of the serials Usha was seen in. She was also briefly seen in Dhulan Hum Le Jayenge.
There is no doubt that there would be more eyes glued to the TV sets if these two ladies indeed happen to show up in the Bigg Boss house.

Dev Anand to be cremated on Saturday

The evergreen hero of Bollywood Dev Anand, who passed away earlier this week, will leave this world in his bodily form when his last rites are performed on Saturday. The formalities will be carried out at Putney Vale, in London. The place is known for its tranquil and serene atmosphere.
According to the information released, the cremation will start exactly at 11:40 am local time on Saturday. However, before finalizing London as the place for the star’s cremation, the Government of India had made an offer to Dev Anand’s family to bring his body back to Mumbai so that his last rites could be carried out in India.
However, it was a family decision to cremate the star in London only. The decision was pending as they were waiting for Kalpana Kartik, Dev Anand’s wife to reach London. After a discussion with her and her daughter, it was decided that London would be the place.

Shammi Kapoor passes away at the age of 79

One of the legends from the Kapoor family – Shammi Kapoor passed away this morning (Sunday morning) at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. He was 79. He is survived by his wife, Neeladevi, son Aditya Raj. He also has a daughter Kachan Desai. His last riots will be performed on Monday morning.
Shammi Kapoor, who was born as Shamsher Raj Kapoor was the second son of Prithviraj Kapoor. Big wigs like Raj Kapoor, Dilip Kumar and Dev Anand were the other leading male stars of his time. Shammi Kapoor was also known as the Elvis Presley of India, due to his looks.
His career in Bollywood was a disastrous one as he had flops after flops. He had flop films in spite of working with heroines like Madhubala, Suraiya and Nalini Jaywant. He needed some success quickly that would also last long. However, his next film Tumsa Nahi Dekha turned his career on its head with stupendous success. In this film, Shammi Kapoor had a duck-tail style haircut.
We would no longer be able to hear the signature tune ‘Yahoooooooo’ ever again for which Shammi Kapoor was a rage.
Our respected homage to Shammi Kapoor let him rest in peace!
