Evergreen Bollywood actor Dev Anand passes away

The evergreen Bollywood actor Dev Anand passed away in London on the early Sunday morning. He was 88 years old. The legend left the world for a better place by virtue of a heart attack. It was his son Sunil, who first found out about his father’s death, said Mr. Mohan Churiwala Dev Saab’s manager.
When Dev Saab’s son came out of his bathroom, he realized that his father was not responding to his calls. He immediately called the doctor. It was later found out that the legendary actor had suffered a heart attack. He has left behind him a family of his wife and two children – a daughter and a son.
Some of Dev Anand’s most memorable films were Guide, Jewel Thief, Kala Pani, Tere Ghar Ke Samne and Gambler. Dev Saab will also be remembered for his films Ishq Ishq Ishq and Hare Rama Hare Krishna. The actor was selected for the Padma Bhushan award 10 years ago in 2001.
The latest film he made was Chargesheet. He was the whole and soul of the film as he wrote, directed and even produced the film at this age. He showed that there is no retirement age.

Asha Bhosle enters the Guiness Book of world records

Asha Bhosle, the daughter of Dina Nath Mangeshkar and younger sister of India’s great singer Lata Mangeshkar made her way in the Gunnies book of world record for most single studio recording. Asha recorded 11000 thousand songs is her singer career. The songs she sang are solo, duets and chores. She sang in more than in 20 languages.
Asha sang her first film song Chala Chala Nav Bala for the Marathi movie Majha Bal (1943). The music for the film was composed by Datta Dawjekar. She made her Hindi film debut when she sang the song Saawan Aaya for Hansraj Behl’s Chunariya (1948).
Her evergreen and unforgettable songs are, “Piya to ab to Aaja” of Carvan, “Rat akali hai bujh gaye diye” Jewel Thief, and “Dum maro Dum” Hare Rama Hare Krishna.
Asha was conferred this reward at the Asian award function held at London. The person who research for Ash’s song is Vishwas Nerurkar. Vishwas give the up-to-date information to gunnies words record adm. for the songs of Asha.
On this occasion Asha said that I know that I sung the most number of songs. But I don’t like to publicly announce it. I don’t want to say anything about it. But the love of the fans speaks it all.

Dev Anand turns 88 – a very happy birthday


The original romantic hero with the chocolate looks, Dev Anand turned 88 yesterday – Monday. The popular hero of the 1950s and the 1960s is still as young as ever. The age factor is no factor for this evergreen hero who is growing younger day by day. Even at this age, he is busy with his projects, which are all but lined up for him.
There is no stopping Dev saab, as he is fondly called, from the work. He is busy with his projects. He is working on the sequel of his hit film Hare Rama Hare Krishna. Apart from that, he is also very excited about the release of Chargesheet, which happens to be his directorial debut.
The veteran actor is going strong with his stint with Bollywood. He has been around for 65 long years now. He knows what the importance of fans and their wishes are. He candidly said that it is my fans and audience which is the source of my energy.
