Veena Malik advocates homosexuality

Speaking anything about sex is considered a taboo in the civil society. However, Veena Malik is one such bold lady who has gone on to speak and advocate homosexuality. She is one actress from Bollywood, who has taken a stance in support of same sex marriage.

However, Veena Malik is not the first lady who has come forward to make her views heard. Before her, there were two popular ladies who have done the same thing – supporting the lesbians. Lady Gaga and Kim Kardashian had also raised their voices supporting the same cause as what Veena seems to be doing now.

I openly support the LGBT (lesbian,gay, bisexual and transgender) community, Veena said and went on to admit that she does not feel shy or reserved about speaking on the issue.

Veena put forth the example of the US President Barak Obama who is also advocating the gay marriages. She felt that everyone should support this cause from all over the world.

Jennifer Lopez to visit India next month

Jennifer Lopez is likely to visit India in the month of December. Paris Hilton was the last celebrity to have visited India. Before that Lady Gaga and Tom Cruise visited India. However, JLO’s visit to India will be with the famous Armando Christian Perez who is a US rapper. Armando Christian Perez is popularly known as Pitbull.

Pitbull will perform on December 2nd, December 3rd, and December 4th in Gurgaon, Mumbai and Pune respectively. There will be the Indian version of the well-known Pitbull Live In Concert.

According to a reliable source Pibull will also bring along with him special guest Jennifer Lopez and Enrique. Though they were scheduled to visit India in the past, their dates could not be coordinated.

Pitbull is also associated with the NGO Suryoday Aids Foundations. In a message Pitbull said he is excited for his live performance in India. He said that during the travelling around world he had heard fascinating storied about India and her people. He said that he was waiting for the moments when he would experience all these things.

Priyanka Chopra busy recording her pop album

Very few know that Priyanka Chopra is a trained western classical singer. She is taking her western classical knowledge to new and professional heights. Priyanka is currently busy with the recording of her debut pop album in the United States. The pop album will be recorded entirely in the English language.

Priyanka Chopra sent the message to hundreds and thousands of her fans through her social networking account on Twitter. As soon as the word spread, there were messages congratulating Priyanka on her new assignment. Her Bollywood well wishers like Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta were amongst those who sent her the messages.

Lady Gaga happens to be a close friend of Priyanka Chopra. There were reports that the two ladies would bring out an album in collaboration with each other. However, Priyanka clarified that the album that she is working on current, is not the one that would come out with Lady Gaga.

This means, the album that Priyanka Chopra is recording is her very own and no other celebrity is involved with it anyhow. However, she said that she would like to work with Lady Gaga sooner than later.

Lady Gaga attacked with eggs while promoting Born This Way

The American singer Lady Gaga, who is in Australia to promote her album, Born This Way, received a very cold response when she was attacked, guess, with what? Eggs. Lady Gaga was at the nightclub in Sydney when some pranksters took advantage of the situation and pelted eggs on her.

As a matter of fact, the eggs did not hit the singer, but unfortunately hit the bystander there. Her short stay at the nightclub, which was marred by the egg-throwing incident, is not the first of its kinds in Sydney in the recent past.

Earlier too, such incident had happened. That time too, there was another singer who was targeted. Justin Bieber, had to bear the brunt of the Aussie ‘outrage’.

Coming back to Lady Gaga’s incident, this trip to Australia is the one she will like to forget as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the egg-throwing episode comes close on the heels of the honorary citizenship of Sydney which was bestowed on Lady Gaga for her support to the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) community.

A couple of days ago we had reported to you about Lady Gaga shooting for an Indian television show for the first time. Now, there is one more piece of info about the singer diva. It is being reported that Lady Gaga is taking keen interest in Hinduism and is attracted towards it.

Lady Gaga, who was born as, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, said that there are a lot of similarities in her philosophies and those she finds in Hinduism. She specifically spoke of the belief of reincarnation. This is one such belief, which is one of the foremost in the Hindu religion.

Apart from reincarnation, Hinduism has strong beliefs in moksha, which is the ultimate goal for a human being.

The Universal Society of Hinduism, in the United States has welcomed the interest shown by Lady Gaga. The society has expressed interest in helping Lady Gaga understand Hinduism better. For that, they are ready to help her in the best way possible.

Lady Gaga was raised and lived as a Roman Catholic. However, the interest in Hinduism from LG’s side is not the first of its kind. Hollywood star and Oscar Award winner Julia Roberts is another celebrity who has come in the Hinduism branch.

The high profile American singer, Lady Gaga will soon show up on a popular talk show in India. The show is hosted by Simi Garewal and is titled, Simi Selects India's Most Desirable. In fact, the show has already been shot in Singapore and will soon be telecast on Indian television.

Though Lady Gaga features on the show, she will not be physically present in India. However, the singer-writer has expressed her wholehearted to visit India. Simi had kept the things under control and was not ready divulge any details about the show until it was shot completely.

Actually, Simi wanted to interview Lady Gaga for quite some time now. However, things were just not falling in place for her. But the star anchor did not lose hopes. Lady Gaga was in Singapore for her stage performances and this is when Simi Garewal decided to take advantage of the situation as both were in Singapore itself.

According to Simi Garewal, though she has interviewed scores of people in her career, the interview of Lady Gaga was one of a kind experience for her as well.
