She was brought to the hospital on Wednesday and some routine and important check-ups were carried out. All the medical reports are yet to be studied before the doctors can come to any concrete conclusion. There were some unconfirmed reports that the actress had fallen unconscious and that is why had to be brought to the hospital.

Marriage buzz of Nathalia Kaur forces Ram Gopal Varma to drop her

Nathalia Kaur, who was once touted as the muse of veteran director Ram Gopal Varma, when she emerged on the surface of Bollywood, isn't in his good books anywhere. The reason is that she could be soon getting married to a person whose identity has still been kept under the wraps.
Without doubt, it has not gone good with the director who has promptly dropped her from his next venture. It was not long ago that he had tagged Nathalia as being the prettiest girl whom he had yet seen in his life. Nathalia was expected to be cast opposite Rana Daggubati in RGV’s next venture.
If an inside source is to be believed, Nathalia Kaur and Ram Gopal Varma were dating secretly and the film was being made just for promoting Nathalia’s career in the industry. Another possibility is that when it was known that Nathalia would be cast in Jism 3, RGV has ousted her from his project.
To help come out of the heartbreak, it is learnt that RGV is keeping himself engaged in the work of his next films like Bhoot 2 and Satya 2.

It’s Natalia Kaur in the Jism 2 poster

Ever since the posters of Jism 2 were out, everyone was thinking that the lady under the white sheet was Sunny Leone. But it was Natalia Kaur, according to the close sources. As a matter of fact, Pooja Bhatt had shown the same poster to Sunny before signing her up. It is being said that Sunny gave the go ahead after she had seen the poster.
But when Ram Gopal Varma came to know that Sunny Leone is going to come to India and even participate in the reality show Bigg Boss, he decided to offer her an item song. However, as she was already signed by Pooja Bhatt, she refused to allow Sunny to work with RGV.
He is then understood to have contacted one of his friends who works with Brazilian models. And this is how he came in touch with Natalia Kaur. She was then termed as being the ‘find’ and ‘discovery’ of Ram Gopal Varma. However, if the Pooja Bhatt version is to be believed, Natalia Kaur was ‘discovered’ at least one year earlier.
But does Ram Gopal Varma know this? And even if he does, will he accept this?

Ram Gopal Varma lost 100cr deal?

It would not be exaggeration to say that, the failure of Department has proved to be a turning point for the career of Ram Gopal Varma. There were a lot of expectations for Ramu from the film. However, all of them have fail flat on face in spite of big names and famous faces in the film.
That has cast a huge spell of disappointment for RGV. Ramu was supposed to get a big deal from a corporate company which had to sign a deal of four films with the veteran director. This deal was reportedly known to be of Rs. 100 cr. This deal was to happen about 15 days prior to the release of Department.
On the other hand, Ram Gopal Varma was suggesting that they should wait for the release of the film that took place in the last month. However, a payment of Rs. 10 crores was already made as an advance.
After the debacle of Department, the corporate house was not willing to continue with the deal. They also asked for the advance to be refunded. But as far as the RGV side is concerned, they insist that the deal is not over yet and the work for the November 26 Mumbai attacks is on.

Anjana Sukhani Ignored by Ram Gopal Varma

Anjana Sukhani has made her unhappiness clear to the director of Department, Ram Gopal Varma. It is very understandable on the part of Anjana Sukhani to become restless as she is almost absent from the promos of the film.
Anjana Sukhani plays the character of Rana Daggubati's wife in the Ram Gopal Varma directed film. She has a decent amount of role to play in the film. The entire attention has been hogged by the Indo-Brazilian beauty Nathalia Kaur. The film Department has become synonymous with Nathalia Kaur.
When contacted by Anjana Sukhani, Ram Gopal Varma promised her that he would look into the entire matter. The lack of attention that Anjana Sukhani suffered was probably due to the fact that RGV has been excessively obsessed by his new-found muse in Nathalia Kaur.
There is no doubt that Nathalia Kaur carried more glamour behind her irrespective of the fact that this is her first Bollywood film. That has completed overshadowed the Indian lady. It’s anyone’s guess that he is biased towards her.

Ram Gopal Varma wanted to show Nathalia Kaur bare

It was certainly surprising to know that Ram Gopal Varma gifted Nathalia Kaur the same costume that she had worn for the item song in the film. It is not very common for RGV to gift his stars with gifts, the way he did with Nathalia Kaur. Actually it was Nathalia who showed a liking for the outfit.
She said that she liked the costume a lot and Ramu Sir allowed me to keep it. The costume was worn for the item song Dan Dan. It was not only Nathalia liking the dress. But as a matter of fact, Ram Gopal Varma was impressed the way Nathalia made her moves in the song. RGV offered the lady to keep the dress.
The dress in red and silver had been designed by Leepakshi Ellawadi. Leepakshi Ellawadi had done the styling for the Big B in the film Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap. It was learnt that RGV wanted to show the sexy half Indian-half Brazilian lady with as much of her assets and curves as possible.

Nathalia Kaur and Rana Daggubati to star in Department

Ram Gopal Varma’s latest find Nathalia Kaur will be seen in his upcoming film Department. Rana Daggubati will be seen as the protagonist in the film. Nathalia Kaur has been making headlines these days and RGV is looking to cash in on her growing popularity in India.
Nathalia Kaur, who is an Indo-Brazilian was supposed to do an item song in the film only. Things were off to a start as Ram Gopal Varma had even ace choreographer Ganesh Acharya to work with Nathalia on the song. The item number “Dan Dan” looked like it would certainly rock.
However, Ram Gopal Varma has a different version to say. He said that Nathalia Kaur isn’t there in the film only for the item song. In fact, she is starring opposite the south sensation Rana Daggubati. RGV further said that people should check the facts before writing things.
Rana Daggubati will don the character of a scruffy policeman. The role was in fact to be done by Abhishek Bachchan first.

Bipasha Basu and Rana Daggubatti to have same date releases

In personal life it is indeed a warm relationship between Bipasha Basu and Rana Daggubatti. However, when it comes to the professional front, there is no excuse. Whoever may it be, you have to fight it out at the box office. The newly formed pair of Bipasha Basu and Rana Daggubatti is no exception either.
On February 24, 2012 the film Jodi Breakers will be released in which Bipasha Basu plays the leading role. On the same day Department will also be released in which Rana Daggubatti plays the lead. Now, this is indeed going to be some hot competition between the two stars.
Incidentally, no one can take the film lightly. It is important for both Bipasha Basu and Rana Daggubatti. Bipasha Basu had a couple of films like Dum Maaro Dum and Players where there was no solo female cast. In that sense, Jodi Breakers will be the first solo female lead film for Bips.
On the other hand, Department will be Rana Daggubatti’s second film in Bollywood and he will be hoping to find some solid footing with the film. Ram Gopal Varma has already given the confirmation that Department will be releasing on February 24, 2012.

Some parts of Not A Love Story shot with a mobile phone

Ram Gopal Varma has always got something new to experiment with in his films. In his latest film, Not A Love Story, he has shot some parts of the movie literally with a mobile phone. The reason was that a gadget like cameras was not allowed to be taken inside a shopping mall where some parts of the movie were shot.
The shots were shot with an iPhone4. As a matter of fact, no digital camera was allowed in the shopping mall, where the shooting actually took place. But it was an important part of the story. In fact, the entire movie has been shot on a digital camera.
The scenes involved Mahi Gill buying a big kitchen knife and some polythene bags. These scenes were shot in the Malad supermarket. When there seemed no alternative, the cameraman Zaryan Patel, came to the rescue of Ram Gopal Varma. He suggested a trick that made the shooting possible.
Zaryan Patel suggested shooting the scenes with an iPhone4. Ram Gopal Varma could not be anywhere near there as he was a popular figure. So Zaryan Patel went inside the mall with Mahi Gill. The entire shooting was of around 15 minutes. However, in the film, it has been cut down to around only 10 seconds.

Not A Love Story difficult: Mahi Gill

Mahi Gill, who plays the lead role in the film Not A Love Story, says that, she found it difficult, to work in the film. The film is based on the true incident of the murder of Neeraj Grover, who was a TV executive. The film Not A Love Story is directed by the veteran director Ram Gopal Varma.
Mahi says that, in the preliminary part of the film, she found the going easy. However, it was the part of the murder and its surroundings that took the toll on her. Well, there are reasons for Mahi to feel a little odd to work in the part that she is mentioning.
Actually, the real crime also took place in the same building; or let us say, the shooting of the film is carried out at the same building where the crime took place. That is why at times it was playing on the mind of Mahi Gill. She wondered how the real murder would have taken place inside such a small room.
The shooting of the film is almost over and is in the process of getting ready for the August 19 release. Deepak Dobriyal and Ajay Gehi are the two male leads in the film.

Ram Gopal Varma SMSed to Not A Love Story heroine Mahie Gill

After the years Ram Gopal Varma has spent in the film industry, why on earth did he need to SMS Mahie Gill, the leading leady of his film Not A Love Story? The real reason for the SMS is that RGV had to say ‘sorry’ to Mahie. But what was the need for the seasoned director to say so?
Comparatively Mahie Gill is lesser experienced and did not deserve to be said ‘sorry’, at least for professional reasons. Yes, there was nothing personal between Ram Gopal Varma and Mahie Gill. It was all about the contents of the film that hurt RGV. Of course, the contents were of erotic nature.
Actually, Mahie Gill has a couple of steamy scenes with Deepak Dobriyal. And it was clear that Ram Gopal Varma was uncomfortable with the scenes. They were of some real erotic nature and it hurt the director. RGV left the scenes do be directed by his assistant director.
However, there was a very pro-like approach from Mahie Gill, who looked above her experience and age. Mahie took the scenes in a completely professional manner and that is why she felt comfortable about them. Mahie thinks that she and Deepak did their job and that’s it.

Ram Gopal Varma believes in Aamir Khan

Many people believe in various deities. However, Ram Gopal Varma is one such person who first believes in Aamir Khan and then anyone else. RGV is really in awe of the Mr. Perfectionist as to how he manages to dish out something new to the audience film after film.
Ram Gopal Varma was commenting after the success of Aamir Khan’s latest film Delhi Belly. “Never believed in Ram, Jesus or Allah bt cing the variation cmng frm js 1 man frm lagaan 2 Tzp 2 DB I am seriously cnsdrng believing in Aamir”, this is what RGV posted on the social site Twitter.
Delhi Belly is indeed dragging the youth to go to the theaters. The film is a story about three young boys who live in urban India. The box office is buzzing with money since the film was released. The reports are quite satisfying, no doubt.
But coming back to what Ram Gopal Varma finds so awful Aamir Khan is indeed true. Some of Aamir’s latest films have truly been fabulous, be it Lagaan, Taare Zameen Par or the latest Delhi Belly. There is always that special touch that Aamir Khan is capable of giving to his film.

Ram Gopal Varma wins the rights for the Rangeela song

Director Ram Gopal Varma has finally won the rights for the ho ja Rangeela re song that he wanted to integrate in his forthcoming film Not A Love Story. The song is from his own film titled Rangeela that was released way back in 1995. It is said that RGV paid about Rs. 8 lakhs to Tips for the right of the song.
RGV was trying to get the rights of the song for a lot of days now. However, there were some technical problems. Ramu felt that it was the perfect song that even suited the story of the film. He was very keen and enthusiastic to get the song in the film. It is a beautiful song composed by the master, A R Rehman himself.
As far as this song goes, the original song was written by Mehboob and Asha Bhosale had sung the song. Now, as expected, the song has seen some changes. There is a different singer and the song has been compiled on a different note. However, the words of the song have been retained as they are.
The new version of the song is sure to give the plot a new dimension. It was not for nothing that Ramu paid Rs. 8 lakhs for the song.

Ram Gopal Varma’s professionalism: Bhoot 2 Vs. Bhooo

Ram Gopal Varma showed professionalism at its best when he called an emergency meeting of his team. But what was the reason after all? The reason was the Bhoot. Well, don’t get frightened. We are talking about the film – the horror film.
Now it is a fight between the Bhatt camp and the Varma camp. The announcement is that Vikram Bhatt as the director is going to make Bhoot 2 with Nitin Manmohan, who will produce the film. The announcement did not go too well with Ram Gopal Varma who called a meeting with his creative team to give a fitting answer to both Nitin Manmohan and Vikram Bhatt.
An old rivalry between Nitin Manmohan and RGV is the result of the announcement of Bhoot 2. The fallout between Nitin Manmohan and RGV was a bitter one and it is chance for Nitin to show to RGV that he can make a film with a different director.
As far as Ram Gopal Varma and the sequel to Bhoot is concerned, the director said that it was going to be his Bhoot 2. However, as the title Bhoot 2 cannot be reused, Bhooo is what came to his mind. But how? Well, the answer is ready too. Bhooo is the sound that one naturally makes when terrified.
Ram Gopal Varma wants to terrify his enemies with his Bhooo.

Photo shoot of film Not A Love Story suspended midway

Ram Gopal Varma’s current project on hands is the film Not A Love Story. The film is based on the real life incident of the murder of Neeraj Grover at the hands of Maria Susairaj in Mumbai. The photo shoot was made more realistic by deciding to carry it out at Dheeraj Solitaire Building. It is the same building where Maria lived.
The photo shoot was given due permission after the formalities and was going on in one of the flats. However, as the shoot started the society members forced their way in the ongoing shooting and disrupted it. Not only that, they also asked everyone to leave the building and the campus without more ado.
At that time, the entire cast of the shoot was present there, along with Mahie Gill, who stars in the film. The shoot was only for four hours, yet the society members took objection to it.
The crew felt it strange how the people could stop the shoot even when they had taken prior permission. The reason is that the society inmates wanted more money from the producer (probably more than what they had decided initially).
It was not only a loss of time for the producer, but also a waste of money too. They went for another set the same day and completed their shooting. But certainly, it was tough time that day!

Amitabh Bachchan will play gangster in Ram Gopal Varma’s Department

The cold war between Amitabh Bachchan and Ram Gopal Varma is over finally. The acclaimed director will cast the senior actor in his film Department. It was earlier rumored that Amitabh Bachchan has walked out of the Ram Gopal Varma film. However, with things settling down, things are returning to normalcy.
If those reports were believed, then actually Amitabh Bachchan had walked out of Department, when he came to know that it was the director who had brought disrepute to his son. However, things took a cozy turn when Ram Gopal Varma visited the Big B’s residence on Wednesday night.
The very next morning, he ‘exposed’ Big B’s role in the film (well, finally he did expose someone’s role). He said that Amitabh would be playing the role of a politician who was a former gangster. RGV said, “Imagine the Agneepath character turning over a new leaf and yet to have the same hard intensity and been there done that know-how”.
RGV did not forget to mention that his respect towards the Bachchan family was one of its kinds. He respected the family a lot. He even went on to add the reason for not having Abhishek in Department. It was all due to the date issues, he said.

Ram Gopal Varma and Bachchans are on good terms

Taking a U-turn about the past developments, Ram Gopal Varma has denied having any rift between him and the Bachchan family. He also said that everything was fine between him and the Bachchan parivar. He denied exposing the end of the film Dum Maaro Dum with texting messages and also articulated the reason for replacing Abhishek Bachchan with Rana.
Ram Gopal Varma also said that he did never divulge the end of the film as had been reported in the recent news. He safeguarded his position by saying that if he ever needed to do so, then he would have taken the help of social networking sites (to make the end known to one and all).
He also dared ask what difference it would have made to the public in general even if he had texted the message through his cell phone. What he meant to say was that, the end still remains unknown to the public and makes no harm to the people concerned with the film.
In respect to casting Rana instead of Abhishek Bachchan in the film, the acclaimed director said that the change has to be made due to the clash of dates. There should not be much read between the lines about this matter.

Abhishek Bachchan won’t do Ram Gopal Varma’s Department

The tension between Abhishek Bachchan and Ram Gopal Varma finally saw the bad taste when Abhi was dropped from Department. Actually, both Ram Gopal Varma and Abhishek Bachchan were not in cordial relations for the past few days.
It was reported that Ram Gopal Varma was conveying all his friends about the end of the film Dum Maaro Dum. He did not even spare Abhishek when Ramu commented about him (not in the right taste, obviously). However, RGV has brought in Rana Daggubati to replace Abhishek in the film.
It was not even one week ago that RGV commented about Dum Maaro Dum and Abhishek. However, had everything been going okay between them, Department could have been the fourth film between Ram Gopal Varma and Abhishek Bachchan. Before this, they have done films like Sarkar and Sarkar Raj – both of which were appreciated a lot.
If sources from Ram Gopal Varma’s side are to be believed, then Abhishek Bachchan did not respond to the director’s calls as he used to do before. This certainly irked RGV to the extent that he not only dropped Abhishek from his film, but also spelled out the end of Dum Maaro Dum before taking a dig at the Jr. B.

Ram Gopal Varma to direct Kangana Ranaut for a 3D horror film

Some days ago, Ram Gopal Varma had made a statement that he does not know Anna Hazare. Well, rightly so, considering the fact that he is so busy with his own work. As of now, he is busy with his current film on hands – A Love Story.
However, it does not matter to him to deal with yet another project. Reports doing the rounds of the media say he is almost finished with finalizing his next project. His next project will be with the beautiful Kangana Ranaut. This next film will be a horror film.
However, it will not be only a horror film just for the sake of it. It will be made completely in 3D. The title of his new film has not yet been disclosed (or probably it is yet not finalized). But as far as his current film, A Love Story is concerned RGV will be dealing with the film from start right up to the finish.
This means, as soon as he finishes with A Love Story, he will turn his attention towards his next horror film. it remains to be seen how much scary this film will be!

Ram Gopal Varma doesn’t know Anna Hazare?

If the words of Gopal Varma are taken to be seriously, then he doesn’t know Anna Hazare at all. When the entire world is supporting the humanitarian cause of eradicating corruption from the country, championed by Anna Hazare, Gopal Varma is busy with his own work. Well, nothing wrong with that. But the fact that he has acknowledged that he doesn’t know Anna Hazare can be hurting for his followers.
There have been a lot of supporters for Anna Hazare from the Bollywood fraternity. However, one of the most respected and intelligent directors of Bollywood and the south cinema industry, Ram Gopal Varma has honestly accepted the fact that he totally ignorant about the great social activist.

Interestingly, RGV said that he knows people from the Bollywood and various gangsters (but not Anna Hazare). Ram Gopal Varma’s busy work schedule has forced him to remain away from these current happenings of the last week, which has been pretty tumultuous for the Indian politics.
Speaking about Anna Hazare’s fast, Ram Gopal Varma said that he would never fast for anyone except for himself if that happens to be a fast for diet. However, he did mention that he has been hearing about corruption since his childhood.
Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Amol Gupte, Vishal Bhardwaj, Shekhar Kapur, Juhi Chawla, Urmila Matondkar, Shabana Azmi, Dia Mirza, Madhur Bhandarkar and Aamir Khan were some of the prominent Bollywood personalities who supported Anna Hazare.
