Sanjay Dutt
and Salman Khan starrer film Rascals is in troubles these days. The
first production for Sanjay Dutt seems to be caught in the rough weather. Actually,
the reasons for these are the rejection of multiplex theaters to show the film.
That could prove to be a big setback for the film.
These days
multiplex play a major role in screening of films. However, it does not seem to
be the case for this film. This is what the actual problem is. There is a dispute
between partners of Rupali Aum Entertainment, Sanjay Ahluwali and Vinay
Choksey, and Cinemax Pvt. Ltd.
The story
behind this dispute is that Cinemax paid Rs.2 crore, around three years ago, in
2008 for movie making. The CEO of Cinemax Sunil Punjabi says that their company,
were to make movies. But their commitment did not get fulfilled. That is why there
is this decision of boycotting this comedy film. “We will not release it in
Cinemax multiplex chain” was the answer where Cinemax has 126 screens.
