The dream
project of Shah Rukh Khan, Ra.One has nothing to do with illicit or explicit contents.
Yet, it was a huffing and puffing race past the finish line for the U
certification. However, there is good news for the King Khan’s fans that he got
U certificate from Censor Board for his expensive film Ra.One. Now it will have
a U certificate to boast of.
The members
of the censor board did not agree for the U certificate. They said that this
film is for youngsters, which includes daring stunts. There is a heavy
possibility that the young fans of SRK will try to do the same stunts, and in
the process hurt themselves.
SRK and the director
of film Anubhav Sinha, who were present during the review of the film by the
board, argued with the board members that these stunts are computer generated.
On this plea the censor board agreed to pass this film with this condition that
SRK, who is also producer of this film, will put a disclaimer that all the
stunts are computer generated and that they should not be exercised by anyone.
That was not
enough for the censor board members who said that this declaimer should be put
in two languages Hindi and English as well. They also add that disclaimer must
be shown on screen for a time that everyone should be able to read each and every
word of it.
After these
marathon efforts SRK finally got U certificate for Ra.One.
