It is learnt that Anushka Sharma brought her annual fees down
to compete with Katrina Kaif to get a two wheeler ad deal from a major company.
Both Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif were in the running for the brand ambassador of the two wheeler brand. These developments come close on the heels
of the Vidya Balan news where we had reported that she charges Rs. 30 lakhs.
Katrina Kaif was the first choice for becoming the face of
the auto company. Kat had already made clear that her annual fees would be Rs.
6 crores. However, when they came to know that Anushka Sharma was ready to cut
her fees and sign the deal for Rs. 4 crores, they gave a second thought to
signing Katrina Kaif.
But the marketing team of the company is of the opinion that
they should continue with Katrina. She is more likely to give the company a
visibility in the market and therefore more sales. So investing a couple of
crores of rupees would be wiser than signing up for Anushka Sharma.
