The roles stars and superstar choose are a talking point and
so is that of Kareena Kapoor. She is likely to play the character of Begum
Samru in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s next film. It is understood that it was Rani
Mukherjee who was first approached for this period film.
Tigmanshu Dhulia has had latest hits like Paan Singh Tomar
and before that, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster. No wonder, there are high
hopes form Tigmanshu Dhulia from his next film as well.
The film is based on the 18th century Begum Samru, who had began
her career as the nautch girl then. However, as luck would have it, she went on
to become the Begum – ruler of Sardhana.
As a matter of fact, Kareena had liked and appreciated the
director Tigmanshu Dhulia’s both previous films and since then she is waiting
to work with him. Looks like her desire will soon be fulfilled.
