Vijay Galani, who produced the film
Veer, has sent a legal notice to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The notice
speaks of suing Salman for a whopping amount of Rs. 250 crores.
The producer has stated reasons as
mental agony and harassment as the two main reasons for the same. There was an
understanding between Vijay Galani and Salman that if the film does well at the
box office, the producer would pay him Rs. 15 crores more.
There was a payment of Rs. 10
crores as a signing fee already paid to Salman, according to the producer.
However, later the Dabangg star
demanded Rs. 15 crores from Vijay Galani, to which the producer replied that he
would pay the amount if the film performed well at the box office. And it didn’t
do according to the expectations.
Salman then approached CINTAA and
then later FWICE regarding his payment. But, there was non-cooperation to
Galani. But Galani claims that the non-cooperation cannot be considered as the
letter he got was only from one body.
The case has been filed for defamation
for the said amount. And now it remains to be seen what outcome the case is.
