Parineeti Chopra cuts her price for New Year bash

Parineeti Chopra is said to have cut her fees so that the organizers can accommodate her as the celebrities for the New Year bash parties are being signed up. As the month of November comes to an end, there is a lot of activity in the film world to actors and actresses to perform at the New Year Eve’s bash.

The Bollywood actress who got fame with her film Ishaqzaade was supposed to perform with her co-star Arjun Kapoor. The makers of the show wanted to have someone who is a newcomer.  The Ishaqzaade actress was keen on doing the show and accepting the offer.

But to make the organizers say yes, she is supposed to have cut her fees by as much as 50%. Parineeti in no case wanted to get the offer out of her hands. If the reports from the insiders are to be believed, Parineeti was being offered around Rs. 20 lakhs. However, she is said to have agreed to accept less amount.

But when Parineeti was contacted on the issue, she did a complete U-turn. She said that on the contrary, these are the opportunities when one can make double the money one usually makes. Now, that’s smart, Parineeti!

Parineeti Chopra has run out of work in Bollywood?

Parineeti Chopra had been tagged the ‘next big thing’ in Bollywood. That was indeed a great tag to someone like her as a newcomer in the industry. After her performance in the film Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, the industry took note of her work even if she was only in a supporting role.

Awards came her way in a hurry. She was tagged as the Best Newcomer as well as the Best Supporting Actress. What’s more, she was even said to be the Superstar of Tomorrow. However, things took a very ugly turn for Parineeti and she currently finds herself sitting idle.

Her last performance in the film Ishaqzaade was also creditable. However, after these two releases, when one thought that she would be super busy, it was touted that it was difficult contacting her, she suddenly finds herself extremely empty.

She has a deal of three films with Yash Raj Films. However, she has completed only two of them and is waiting for the third one. Things just aren’t falling to place for Parineeti right now.

Not dating Parineeti Chopra: Uday Chopra

Uday Chopra is in the news for his alleged links with Parineeti Chopra. The two Chopras are in the news for this same reason. However, the Uday Chopra feels that his linking with Parineeti Chopra is a ridiculous thing.

This is what Uday Chopra tweeted about the news “Whoa! @ParineetiChopra and I are NOT dating guys...it's kinda ridiculous! And she doesn't call me Sir, though I think she should start,”

The news might be a rumor alright, but it had something solid reason to spark it off. The two of them were spotted at different locations during the night hours. They looked to enjoy each other’s company as well. It seems as though there is something more than a professional relationship.

Interestingly enough, Parineeti Chopra started her Bollywood career with the film Ladies vs Ricky Bahl that was made under the YRF (Yash Raj Films) banner, which was nicely accepted by the people. Parineeti then found success with her another film titled Ishaqzaade.

Parineeti Chopra charging half a crore per day?

It certainly looks like Parineeti Chopra is making hay as the sun is still shining, or should we say started to shine on her. It shows when she is too busy to find time for having even a telephonic interview. Another sign is the price tag. It is learnt that she is charging too heavily to be even paid for.

When on one hand we had an example of Anushka Sharma slammingher fees to get an ad from Katrina Kaif, on the other we have Parineeti Chopra who is already quoting prices as high as Rs. 50 lakhs per day. Well, isn’t it a tad too much for a comparatively newer face like Parineeti?

It was understood that Parineeti is making full use of her newly found stardom after the success of Ishaqzaade, when she was approached by a well-known cosmetic company. The company needed Parineeti for 10 days in all. One full week will be needed for the campaign while the remaining time would be utilized for two events.

The cosmetic company was not ready to pay anything more than Rs. 25 lakhs per day. The brand is now considering another face to promote their product.

What’s cooking between Jackky Bhagnani and Parineeti Chopra

Parineeti Chopra is no doubt a rising star and it was proved when it was difficult to contact her for an interview. Actor Jackky Bhagnani is a tad ‘senior’ to Parineeti Chopra. However, of late the two are being linked with each other. As it happens with actors and actresses no matter if they are well-settled or not. PC is currently going through this phase.

But as expected Jackky Bhagnani has denied any reports that have linked them with each other. We really are only friends and there’s nothing more to read between the lines, says the actor.

Jackky Bhagnani further said that he would not term them as being friends as the media will interpret as the same old statement that comes out in such cases. He further said that she is a lovely girl whom he has met only two to three times.

The actor also commented on Parineeti’s film Ishaqzaade along with Arjun Kapoor saying them were fabulous.

Parineeti Chopra doesn't mind wearing a bikini

After a good start to her career in 2011 with Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, Parineeti Chopra is feeling happy for her second film Ishaqzaade. The junior PC in the industry is open to donning the two-piece attire. She said if the script and the story demand her to do so, she will go ahead with it.

She further said that she does not want to keep any limitations on herself when it comes to acting. Doing intimate scenes is also a part of the same. Parineeti added that she believes in herself and that is the reason why she is ready to do these scenes.

Parineeti Chopra also seconded that if a script is good and it contains a kissing scene, you do not do it, which may not be good as you don't understand what the writer expected in the script.

This broad attitude of PC made it possible for her to do the intimate scenes in Ishaqzaade with her co-star Arjun Kapoor.

Actress Parineeti Chopra not to start singing yet

Not many may know actress Parineeti Chopra has her own talents apart from acting. The newbie is a trained singer, who has taken the necessary technical knowledge for as many as six years. So how is Parineeti going to exploit her talent if she indeed has one to her personality?

Well, according to Parineeti, she has had her training under Nidhi Narag in Ambala, whom she considers her guru in the field. Parineeti says that she is still concentrating on her acting and singing is not on her minds right now. While speaking about her singing, Parineeti, knowingly or unknowingly spoke about her future plans.

It might not be for another five to six years before we can get to hear this new voice. She wants to wait for this period as she thinks it will give her the grip over her acting. She is currently busy with the promotion of her second film titled Ishaqzaade. The film will be launched on May 11, which will be the debut film of Arjun Kapoor – Boney Kapoor’s son.

Item song for Katrina Kaif in Ishaqzaade

After the rocking Shelia Ki Jawani and Bodyguard, Katrina Kaif is ready for a new item song. Until some years back, item songs were looked at like as if they are reserved only for B or C grade actresses. These actresses made lots of explicit movements and did a lot of skin show.

However, things have taken a U-turn now. Malaika Arora Khan’s Munni Badnaam Hui and Shelia Ki Jawani have changed the way item songs are looked at. Therefore, item songs are becoming a prestige point for even top grade heroines. As far as Katrina Kaif is concerned, she has certainly an item song in her pockets right now.
