Sameera Reddy gets Rs. 50 lakhs for 10-minute performance

Sameera Reddy will be performing this New Year’s Eve and is known to have charged Rs. 50 lakhs for 10-minute performance. The last time Sameera missed the chance to perform on the occasion. However, she made sure she will be performing on the stage to usher in the New Year with her fans.

Sameera will be performing in Lucknow. Interestingly, Sameera will not be performing in Mumbai, if you had thought so. She will be seen dancing to the tunes of the songs like Ishq Duhai, Sheila Ki Jawani and Munni Badnaam Hui. As this will be her new performance on stage especially for a New Year, Sameera is thrilled about this.

Sameera Reddy was in Greece recently to be with her sister who gave birth to a baby boy. But now, Sameera will be travelling back to India and will certainly be busy preparing for her performance. It is understood that she hasn’t yet finalized all her costumes for the stage show.

In two months Katrina Kaif lost five kilo weight

There is certainly a thing to believe in slim is beautiful. Otherwise, Katrina Kaif won’t have lost five KGs in just two months. Weight loss has been still a craze amongst the Bollywood actresses even if the tag of size zero may seem to have fallen behind. As far as Katrina Kaif is concerned, it was like necessary to lose weight.

The weight loss for the Bollywood babe comes for the action thriller Dhoom 3. The YRF banner is producing the film with Katrina Kaif being at the protagonist. As a matter of fact, YRF always looks for actresses that will look hot and sexy in the traditional Indian outfit – the sarees.

However, this time around, they were looking for a slimmer version of the actress and it came in the form of Katrina Kaif. Katrina admitted that the film itself is a big challenge when it comes to shooting and one thing that the actors can do is to remain fit.

Katrina Kaif is said to have lost some flesh when she was preparing for the song Sheila ki jawani. It was then that she could properly belly dance.

Katrina Kaif will be acro-dancing in Dhoom 3

Dhoom 3 will bring out another talent from the leading Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif. She will be for the first time experimenting with a dancing form that is called as acro-dancing. This form of dancing is indeed an exciting venture in itself. As this is a new dancing form to Katrina as well, she is training hard for it.

As a matter of fact, Aamir Khan will also be joining Katrina in the dance. However, they will be getting the training at two different parts of the world. When on one hand Katrina will get trained in Mumbai itself, Aamir will be taught the art in Chicago, in the US.

It is not the first time that Katrina is getting a specific training in a certain dance form. The best of her efforts were shown in the song Sheila Ki Jawani in the film Tees Maar Khan. For the popular number Mashallah from the film Ek Tha Tiger, Katrina had to take grueling lessons.

Both the dance numbers mentioned above are belly dancing numbers and Katrina had to train harder each time. The same seems true for now as well.

Acro-dancing is a combination of showing the elasticity skills of the body as well as combining it with classical dancing. It is considered a very complex form of modern dancing.

Katrina Kaif offered Rs. 2 crores for New Year performance

As the year draws to a close, the biggies in the Bollywood world, especially the ladies are in great demand. Katrina Kaif has to be one of them. The charming lady has been offered a sum of Rs. 2 crores to perform on the eve of the New Year. The offer has come from one of the five star hotels in the metropolitan city of Mumbai.

Last year it was the Sheila Ki Jawani song that was making the headlines and was a craze amongst the young. Even Malaika Arora Khan’s Munni Badnaam Hui was a hot favorite. It was literally only these two songs that ruled the performances last year.

However, as far as Katrina is concerned, she did not perform at any such hotels on the New Year eve even when she was offered a huge sum of money. Even this year it is yet undecided if Katrina accepts such an offer. If she refuses, the organizers are thinking of roping in Mallika Sherawat.

Item song for Katrina Kaif in Ishaqzaade

After the rocking Shelia Ki Jawani and Bodyguard, Katrina Kaif is ready for a new item song. Until some years back, item songs were looked at like as if they are reserved only for B or C grade actresses. These actresses made lots of explicit movements and did a lot of skin show.

However, things have taken a U-turn now. Malaika Arora Khan’s Munni Badnaam Hui and Shelia Ki Jawani have changed the way item songs are looked at. Therefore, item songs are becoming a prestige point for even top grade heroines. As far as Katrina Kaif is concerned, she has certainly an item song in her pockets right now.

The film Ishaqzaade will be released in the next year. It has been an offer that has come Katrina’s way and she is sure not to let it go. The director of Ishaqzaade is Habib Faisal, who has come up with the offer.

Priyanka Chopra says ‘no’ to item numbers

When on one hand, item songs like Sheila Ki Jawani and Munni Badnaam Hui are ruling the roost, Priyanka Chopra has refused to do any item numbers in her career. It was rumored that Priyanka was ready for an item number for an upcoming film, titled Tezz. However, such reports should die down now, as the answer came straight from the horse’s mouth.

It was Priyanka Chopra’s spokesman who came forward to deny the reports. He said that these reports are nothing but pure rumors. Priyanka did not sign for any item number, he clarified. He also said that, the actress did not have any sort of discussion with any producer or director in this regard.

It was rumored that Priyanka Chopra had agreed for an item number in Priyadarshan’s next film Tezz. The film also stars Ajay Devgan along with Anil Kapoor. Kangana Ranaut is the leading lady of the film. The item number is question is being said to be a Sajid-Wajid number.

We will soon know who the actress might be who will do the item number in place of Priyanka Chopra.

Katrina Kaif wants to do a raunchier number than ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’

If the word ‘cut-throat competition’ is to be believed, then Katrina Kaif wants to get raunchier than ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’. ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ was one such item number that took everyone by storm. More than the film from which the song was, many of us remember the song more than the film itself. The song was from the film Tees Maar Khan.
During the same period, we had yetanother item number – ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’, dished out by Malaika Arora Khan, from the film Dabangg. Both these songs were highly popular and as they were released towards the end of thelast year, both Katrina Kaif and  Malaika Arora were offered huge sums of money to perform these item songs during the year-end celebrations.

 

Today, we are talking about a new item song, ‘Mit Jaaye Gham’, from the film Dum Maaro Dum. Deepika Padukone is at the center of the discussion for the song and she is already receiving a lot of praise for the same. Katrina Kaif is certainly feeling uneasy over these new developments and wants to ascertain her position in the item numbers department.

So what happens now? What happens now is Katrina is preparing herself for yet another item song. This item song will be for the film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. This song will be an original one and not a remake of any classic song.

The presence of an item number in this film has been seconded by Katrina herself. She further reveals that, in the song she will be dancing to the tunes on a roadside dhaba.

The news spreading around is that this song will be choreographed by Bosco (of the Bosco-Ceasar). Interestingly, he had also choreographed the ‘Mit Jaaye Gham’ song for Deepika.
