Today if item numbers have become a point of prestige, then Amisha Patel cannot be left far behind in the race. Amisha is one lady of the tinsel town, who is in the news just for this reason. If the reports are to be believed, Amisha is all set to show off her dancing prowess.

The recent Apsara Awards is the witness to the dancing abilities of Amisha Patel. The 'certificate' also came in the form of the veteran Yash Chopra complimenting her for her dancing. If things fall to place for Amisha Patel, she is open to doing item numbers in not only for her home production, but also for different banners.

With item numbers, Amisha will be entering into a completely new foray altogether, as yet she is not associated with this form of entertainment yet. But Amisha showed what a quick learner she is. She got just a day to prepare the steps for the two songs Ooh La La and Chikni Chameli.

Sushmita Sen itching to do raunchy item numbers

When on one hand we have reported to you about Priyanka Chopra refusing item numbers, on the other there is Sushmita Sen, who is waiting for the same opportunity. Sush is certainly in the mood to dance and what more can an item number to the work for her?

Though Sushmita is not known for her dance or item numbers, she has the ability and the charisma to show off a good one. She has shown her real dancing skills in items number in her previous films like Nayak and Fiza. Sushmita wanting to do item numbers are no rumors, by the way. She has herself confessed to be in the mood to dance when she was speaking in an interview to a private television channel.

By the way, Sushmita has been off the silver screen for the better part of the year now. Her last film was the comedy flick No Problem directed by Anees Bazmee. No Problem was released last year.

Banking on an item number can be a good comeback of sorts for Sushmita. Well, either ways Priyanka Chopra is refusing item numbers. Sush, you stand a good chance of getting one.

When on one hand, item songs like Sheila Ki Jawani and Munni Badnaam Hui are ruling the roost, Priyanka Chopra has refused to do any item numbers in her career. It was rumored that Priyanka was ready for an item number for an upcoming film, titled Tezz. However, such reports should die down now, as the answer came straight from the horse’s mouth.

It was Priyanka Chopra’s spokesman who came forward to deny the reports. He said that these reports are nothing but pure rumors. Priyanka did not sign for any item number, he clarified. He also said that, the actress did not have any sort of discussion with any producer or director in this regard.

It was rumored that Priyanka Chopra had agreed for an item number in Priyadarshan’s next film Tezz. The film also stars Ajay Devgan along with Anil Kapoor. Kangana Ranaut is the leading lady of the film. The item number is question is being said to be a Sajid-Wajid number.

We will soon know who the actress might be who will do the item number in place of Priyanka Chopra.

Miss India Kanishtha Dhankar is not interested in item numbers

One of the probable candidates of the Miss World title, Miss India Kanishtha Dhankar, is not at all interested in item numbers. When on one hand, even the established actresses of Bollywood like Malaika Arora Khan, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone are looking at the option of item numbers seriously, here is one such would-be actress who is refusing this trend altogether.

Though Kanishtha Dhankar is yet nowhere in the films, she is talking about the future where she herself talks about the ifs and buts of her entry in the film industry, especially the Bollywood.

Kanishtha has even determined to herself that she would do a film that would give out a social message. She even stated examples of films like Guzaarish and 3 Idiots. Though she is not sure of her own future in the film industry, she is dreaming of working with renowned directors like Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap.

Though Kanishtha is not known to be a film personality at all, she has observed the well-known directors pretty well. She feels that Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap have their own ways of handling the topics.

We don’t know if she will bring the beauty crown home, but she has already prepared the platform for her entry in Bollywood. We hope she isn’t yet another Poonam Pandey, who just runs her mouth.
