Sanjay Leela Bhansali to revive his old project?

The host of X-Factor and acclaimed director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is an uneasy man. It is not because the singing reality show got over, but there is another reason for that. His ambitious project has yet not seen the light of the day. He has been dreaming about the project since 2003 – for 8 years now. However, it just has not taken off.

We are talking about the film that Sanjay Leela Bhansali wants to make, which is based on the lives of the Maratha general Peshwa Bajirao and his half-Muslim second wife Mastani. Bhansali wanted to make the film Bajirao Mastani way back in 2003. But things are just not working for the producer.

As a matter of fact, Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to star in the film. However, it were those days when the two super stars split infamously. There was no way the two could ever come back again even for professional reasons unlike Salman khan and Katrina Kaif.

Mr. Bhansali then tried to cast the pair of Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor. However, he gave up the idea as another director had already cast them. Sanjay Leela Bhansali thought it would take away the charm and attraction if the same pair is cast at around the same time in two different films.

Making the film is getting tougher each day. He has had two flops in Saawariya and Guzaarish. Therefore, it would be difficult to get the budget of his wish. Moreover, the star cast too is a problem these days as most of the stars’ schedule is too tight at the moment.

Miss India Kanishtha Dhankar is not interested in item numbers

One of the probable candidates of the Miss World title, Miss India Kanishtha Dhankar, is not at all interested in item numbers. When on one hand, even the established actresses of Bollywood like Malaika Arora Khan, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone are looking at the option of item numbers seriously, here is one such would-be actress who is refusing this trend altogether.

Though Kanishtha Dhankar is yet nowhere in the films, she is talking about the future where she herself talks about the ifs and buts of her entry in the film industry, especially the Bollywood.

Kanishtha has even determined to herself that she would do a film that would give out a social message. She even stated examples of films like Guzaarish and 3 Idiots. Though she is not sure of her own future in the film industry, she is dreaming of working with renowned directors like Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap.

Though Kanishtha is not known to be a film personality at all, she has observed the well-known directors pretty well. She feels that Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap have their own ways of handling the topics.

We don’t know if she will bring the beauty crown home, but she has already prepared the platform for her entry in Bollywood. We hope she isn’t yet another Poonam Pandey, who just runs her mouth.
