Amisha Patel refuses spicy item song

Unlike the past, when even the top rated actresses aren’t downplaying item songs, Amisha Patel is the one who is going the other way round. Believe it or not, she has refused an offer of a spicy item song that has come her way. It is also understood that the Bollywood actress was offered a huge amount for the song.

It looks as if Amisha is giving more importance to the quality rather than the bucks she would have got for the song. The offer for the song had come for a south Indian film. The producers of the film were ready to work according to Amisha’s conditions.

The pay was not a problem and neither were the dates. They were ready to work as per her schedule. The film song was supposed to be shot in at least three locations. She was in demand after her shoot for the sunglasses became extremely popular.

Amisha Patel has already her hands full of Bollywood projects. However, the reason for her refusing the item song offer is still perplexing because the makers were ready to wait for her dates.

Another item song for Malaika in Dabangg 2

Malaika Arora Khan who is now proudly known as the Munni of items songs is likely get another such number in Dabangg 2. News reports are also doing the rounds that Kareena Kapoor is likely to get to perform on a item song. This means there will be two item numbers – one for Malaika Arora Khan and one for Bebo. Salman Khan is also going to be a part of the song in which his sister-in-law Malaika will be seen.
If the reports are to be believed, then the words of the song will feature the name of the character played by Salman Khan – Chulbul Pandy. Pandeyji Maare Seeti is what the song will be. As far as the other item song is concerned, we have to keep our fingers crossed.

Sameera Reddy will perform an item song in film Tezz

The decision has been taken. It will be Sameera Reddy for the item song in the film Tezz. The film, directed by Priyadarshan, was short of an item girl. There were names like Priyanka Chopra discussed. However, there was no luck for Priyadarshan, until his close family friend, Sameera Reddy showed up.

Sameera Reddy plays the role of a club dancer in the film and that is why the item dance should also belong to her, Priyadarshan feels. Actually, there were some other ladies in the contention for the item song. Priyadarshan was actually referring to and defending why the item number should go Sameera’s way.

What a co-incidence it is! Sameera Reddy had danced to the tunes of an item song in Priyadarshan’s film Aakrosh last year. Tezz is a thriller film. The item song we are talking about has the music score by Sajid-Wajid.
