Sunny Leone to debut on stage

Sunny Leone – the adult star will be making her debut by making a live performance on the stage on the New Year Eve. This will be her first performance in India as well. There is no doubt that there will be a whole lot of excitement both for the actress and the fans too.

If the reports are to be believed, the hot and sexy actress will be performing at Hotel Lalit that falls on the Barakhamba road. The event has been organized by Studio 169 of which Shilpi Gupta is the owner as well as the stylist. Shilpi Gupta said that they are all looking forward to the party at the studio’s red carpet party.

Sunny Leone will share the performing night with other stars like DJ Kary, who happens to be the first female DJ of India.

Katrina Kaif can make good wife for Salman Khan

Both Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan are unmarried and Katrina Kaif can make a good wife for Salman Khan. The talks of Salman Khan getting married are doing the rounds and who else would suit Salman Khan better than his love interest Katrina Kaif. It would be one of the best Bollywood pairs.

But who is saying all this? Well, it came to notice through a poll taken by a matrimonial site. In the survey, votes of as many as 21,000 people were recorded. Out of those people, around 69.84% people responded in favor of Katrina Kaif getting married to Salman Khan.

The 69.84% fans feel that even if Katrina Kaif is only 28 years old, she and Salman, 47 can make a good pair. The survey has revealed another interesting result. About 62% men feel that Salman Khan should never marry in his life and on the other hand, 60.37% women want Salman to settle down in life as early as he can.

The survey also had people from the south say that Sonakshi Sinha – his co-star in Dabangg could be his life partner, while people from the north would like Asin to tie the knot with Salman Khan.

Dabangg 2 earns Rs. 21 crores on the opening day

The sequel to the 2010 hit Dabangg, Dabangg 2 has proved to be the highest grosser for the opening day. The film has earned the highest amount – Rs. 21.10 crores to be exact. However, the reason is that it has got more screens than Dabangg should also be mentioned. Dabangg 2 was released across 2500 screens as against 1800 screens for its prequel.

Though it got more screens, it should be taken into account that the film has been released on a working day – a non-holiday, as they call it. As usual Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha are in the lead. The film is directed by Arbaaz Khan, who is already an actor and a producer.

As far as Dabangg is concerned, it had earned Rs. 14.5 crores on its first day. Dabangg 2 crossed the mark set by Akshay Kumar starrer Rowdy Rathore. The film had grossed Rs. 15 crores. Both Rowdy Rathore and Dabangg 2 were released on non-holiday.

Experts in the field feel that this film too will cross the Rs. 100-crore mark.

Scarlett Johansson faces wardrobe malfunction on stage

Actress Scarlett Johansson was up for some embarrassment and faced a wardrobe malfunction when she was rehearsing on the stage. Actually her costume got unzipped by chance and that left the actress red-faced. Scarlett Johansson, who starred in Avengers, will be seen in Tennessee William’s Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, where she plays the Maggie.

The co-star of Scarlett Johansson Debra Monk said that she had come unstuck when they were rehearsing and that is when the zipper gave way. Ms. Johansson had no option but to change her costume in front of all the co-stars right there.

Monk further added that though Scarlett Johansson was a bit red in the face, she did not get fazed by what had happened. On the contrary, she continued delivering her lines. Though she was taken aback by what had happened, she kept her cool, walked off to get another dress and continued with her lines all the way through.

Katrina Kaif to perform at four award shows in January

Katrina Kaif will begin 2013 on a bang while performing at award shows in January itself. It is learnt that Katrina will be performing at four such award shows. If the figures are to be believed, she will be getting paid almost Rs. 10 crores for all these four shows. As the year 2012 was, so it seems will be the case for her in the next year.

Katrina Kaif delivered two hits this year, one each with Salman Khan and the other with Shah Rukh Khan. With Salman Khan first it was Ek Tha Tiger and then with Shah Rukh Khan, the recently released Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Both the films broke into the Rs. 100 cr. club. That automatically increased the market value for Katrina Kaif.

The success for Katrina at the box office does not only mean that she has a high value for her presence at the shows and stage performances, but in fact, she will also have a greater range to choose the numbers to perform at the shows.

Soha Ali Khan learning martial arts

Soha Ali Khan is preparing for her character in the upcoming film Joe B Karvalo by learning martial arts. Soha plays a cop in the film. The technique of self defense is being taught to her by Chitah Yajness Shetty. Chitah Yajness Shetty has been in the field of martial arts training for as many as three decades.

Chitah feels that Soha is a very dedicated learner who is also very serious in her learning sessions. Shetty feels that it is very important that every girl today learns this art so that they are able to defend themselves from the vicious people in the society.

The training for Soha Ali is presently going on at the Recreation Club, which is located in Andheri (West) in Shastri Nagar. There were not many details available about the film. We will soon come to know about the details as the time progresses and the training of Soha comes to an end.
