Just after walking the Red Carpet at Cannes gracefully, Minissha Lamba was held with jewellery with Rs. 50 lakhs. She was detained by the Custom officials at the international airport in Mumbai. The reason was that she had not declared the diamond jewellery that she was carrying.It was just after Minissha was returning from Cannes that she was detained at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. She was held up by the officials for as many as 16 long hours. She reached the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport from Cannes at around 8.30 in the morning.
The 16 hour interrogation made Minissha spend the entire day with the customs itself. The presence of the diamond jewellery came to notice when Minissha was crossing the green signal.
It is expected that the sexy actress be called up again for further investigation if the need arises.
