After a couple of days’ of rest from Minissha Lamba’s side, she has come up with a statement about the diamonds those were found in her bag when she was returning from Cannes this week. She said that the diamonds were given to her to wear for the Cannes festival and that she has no right on them.Minissha Lamba was caught (or let’s say found) with diamonds worth Rs. 50 lakhs. She said that, the jewelers who owned them were Anmol Jewellers and that it was just a part of the film festival. She had nothing to do with them after the fest was over. She also said that as the jewellery belongs to Anmol Jewellers, there cannot be any type of case against her.
As far as the technicalities now go, the jewelers would be called up to verify if Minissha is speaking the truth or not. Apart from that, the entire jewellery will be in the custody of the government until then.
The Cannes Film Festival did not prove to be too good for Minissha Lamba, as apart from this jewellery issue, she has also lost her personal bag during the trip.
