Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt again finds himself in the arms of law. The reason this time is the non-bailable warrant issued in his name. The warrant has been issued by the Judicial Magistrate Krishna Kumar from a local court in Uttar Pradesh. The reason for the warrant is the ‘provocative utterances’ made during the general elections in India in 2009.
The Judicial Magistrate has ordered to present the actor in the court on July 8 this year. It is but obvious that Sanjay Dutt faces an imminent arrest in the near future. The orders from the Magistrate came after one Vijay Shankar Yadav, made charges against Sanjay Dutt for not acting in accordance with the code of conduct during the election period.
The FIR mentioned that the speeches were made to gain the popularity of the Muslim voters in Mau, in Uttar Pradesh.
Sanjay Dutt had been charged on various occasions in the past. The first of the incidents dates back to the 1993 Mumbai blasts.
