Kareena Kapoor’s most talked about film Heroine, is
set to release. The promotion of the film is going on thick and fast. Both the
leading actress as well as the director is leaving no stone unturned as far as
the publicity is concerned. They are even seen on TV shows too.
However, the film is being released during the period when
there are two major reasons for the audience to not to go to theaters. The first
reason is the Ganapati festival that kick starts tomorrow – Wednesday, September
19. The second reason is the T20 World Cup that has started today.
If the film has to do any good business and the box office
has to show results, then the director has to take a call about these two big
hindrances it could cause to the turnout at the theaters. However, taking a
call will not be easy for Madhur Bhandarkar.
Heroine has been a dream project for Mr. Bhandarkar. The timing
of the release of the film has caught him on the wrong foot. Experts are of the
opinion that the 10-day long Ganapati festival and the three-week long T20 WC
could be potential spoilsport.
