Sonam Kapoor is on a high after two of her latest films have tasted
success. The films we are talking about are Raanjhannaa and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
Sonam needs to go through some formalities and technicalities upfront. And if
all things go well, Sonam might soon be flying to the US.
It is understood that Sonam has auditioned for the role in
the film Pirates of the Caribbean. This will be the fifth part of the film that
Sonam is targeting to get a role in. Johnny Depp is a popular name and face
that will star in the Pirates of the Caribbean.
By the way, Sonam is a well-known face at public events even
at international levels. She makes it a point to attend the Cannes Film
Festival.
The buzz is that the production house of Pirates of the
Caribbean contacted a celebrity management company in India, who in turn got in
touch with Anil Kapoor, Sonam’s father.
He recommended his daughter’s name immediately. The auditions
took place in Mumbai last week and Sonam did it hands down. Now, they are keeping
fingers crossed.
