Visibly irked by the cuts Satya 2 has got, Ram Gopal Varma has
decided to file a case against none other than the censor officer. The officer
who has been taken to the sword is Dhanalaxmi. The one thing that RGV could not
digest is why the censor officer has gone for cuts in the first place.
The point of debate is the Hindi version of the film has got
a smooth sailing while the Telugu version saw cuts. One reason why the scenes and
some names were cut because, they were reportedly like some other well-known
names like that of TV8 CEO Prakash Ravi and DGP Ramesh Reddy and industrialist
Nimmagadda Ramprasad.
The matter escalated when the film maker decided to go on and
file a criminal case bringing forward the reason of financial loss, misuse of
the authority as well as harassment.
