Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan is one couple in Bollywood that
the fans want to see reunited. However, Rekha, it is rumored, isn’t ready to
work with Amitabh Bachchan anymore. The couple was last seen in the film
Silsila by Yash Chopra and since then hasn’t shared screen space.
However, film makers are pretty pumped up about casting them
together. They want them to come together for the film Welcome Back, which is a
sequel to Welcome that was released in 2007. Film maker Anees Bazmee is hopeful
of casting them together.
The producers of the film Firoz Nadiadwala along with Anees
Bazmee are in touch with the mega star. It is understood that Amitabh Bachchan has
given his go ahead for the film. However, things didn’t look right from Rekha’s
side. She has sighted problems of her dates.
It is reported that the film Super Nani by Indra Kumar in
which Rekha will be acting is having the same dates as that of Welcome Back. Now
it remains to be seen if there are indeed problems or Rekha doesn’t want to act
with Big B.
