Sohail Khan to continue as the judge of Comedy Circus

Sohail khan will continue to be the judge for the next season of the immensly popular show Comedy Circus on Sony Entertainment Television. He will give company Archana Puran Singh who has been a permanent feature on the show. The show will be telecast on Sony TV every Saturday and Sunday, starting from January 7 - the first Saturday of the year.

It was reported that Sohail Khan would no more judge the show and that he will be soon replaced by a new judge. Sohail Khan war the judge of the 15th finale of Comedy Circus, which started in the year 2007. Like some of the past seasons, it was Kapil Sharma who again won this prestigeous comedy competition.

The new season of Comedy Circus will be known as Kahani Comedy Circus Ki. In the new season too there will be some old faces like Siddhart Jadhav, Kapil Sharma among others.

Katrina Kaif will be Chikni Chameli in the film Agneepath

It seems that Katrina Kaif has decided to do only item numbers. Her next is chikni chameli in Agneepath. This is the remake of the famous bygone film in which the superstar of the millennium Amitabh Bachchan starred. The film will be remade by Karan Johar. The original one was made by his father in the year 1990.

Karan Johar posted a twitter message about the remake and this is how the world came to know about these developments. He wrote that Katrina will be doing an item song in the film Agneepath. The shooting of this particular song will be done in a week’s time. In the original film Archna Puran Singh had danced to the tunes of Alibaba, which was also item number.

The remake of Agneepath will be directed by the new director Karan Malhotra. It is his debut film. Sanjay Dutt is playing role of villain in this film. If all things go well it will be released on 26 January 2012.

Sohail Khan makes his TV debut with Comedy Circus

One of the Khan brothers – Sohail Khan has finally made his small screen debut with the comedy serial Comedy Circus. Some days ago, there were talks about his presence in the sequel of Dabangg. That has been sorted out with Arbaaz Khan saying that Sohail won’t be a part. However, there are no two opinions about his debut on TV.

The first episode of the show was aired on yesterday – Sunday July 17 on Sony Entertainment channel. There have been four seasons of Comedy Circus and the show is immensely popular. Archana Puran Singh is the other host who has been one ever since the show started. There will also be a new host – Reshmi Ghosh.

Apart from the new judge, there will also be new participants in this season. Siddhartha Jadhav and Vishakha Subhedar are the two faces who come from the Marathi background and who have also been stage artists before. Ankita Lokhande and Suri are the two other new faces on the show.

Comedy Circus promises to be a cracker of a programme after the new talent included.
