Tabu to do an item number in Maximum

As the trend of item numbers is spreding, the next in the line is Tabu for the film Maximum. Dabangg star Sonu Sood and the veteran Naseeruddin Shah will also be seen in the film. If Tabu accepts and the item song is shot on her, she will be one of the leading ladies of Bollywood who are inclining more towards doing item numbers.

Tabu has in fact taken a break from the film world as of now. However, she is likely to set the screens on fire with her hot and sizzling performance. Neha Dhupia along with Vinay Pathak will also be seen in the film. The film will be released on April 13.

Now Karishma Kapoor’s item number for Rowdy Rathore

In the list of the actresses who are willing to do item numbers, the latest is Karishma Kapoor. She will have an item number for Rowdy Rathore. The film Rowdy Rathore stars Akshay Kumar along with Sonakshi Sinha. The veteran Naseerudin Shah will also be seen in the film.

A couple of days ago we had reported to you about Amisha Patel getting into the item number act. Now the next to enter will be the Kapoor girl, well lady actually, Karishma. There will certainly be a fight between the comparatively new ladies for item numbers – Amisha Patel and Karishma Kapoor.

It remains to be seen how Karishma handles this form of entertainment. Certainly that is not easy. There are already big names like Malika Arora Khan and Katrina Kaif who have experienced unprecedented success with item numbers over the last 12 to 15 months.

It will be a big challenge for Karishma Kapoor to pull an item song by her own.

Vidya Balan to give live performance for Dirty Picture music launch

Many of us might have seen how Vidya Balan has set the screens on fire with Dirty Picture and the various promos involved in it. It is enough to give a glimpse of what might be behind those trailers. As if it was not enough, Vidya will come hard on promoting the film.

She will be performing on the Ooh la la song. The Inorbit Mall situated in Malad will host this programme. The other stars of the film Emraan Hashmi, Tusshar Kapoor along with Naseeruddin Shah are also expected to give their performances during the programme. Other than these stars who will be seen in the film, there are those from behind the screen too.

Music director Bappi Lahiri and the beautiful Shreya Ghoshal will not only attend the music launch, but also perform as well. The film that is based on the real life of the southern sex bomb Silk Smitha is scheduled to be released on December 2.

Who will do the Ishqiya sequel – Kangana Ranaut or Vidya Balan?

There is a big question mark as to who will star in the Ishqiya sequel. Reports say it might either be Kangana Ranaut or Vidya Balan. However, a final decision has not been taken. Let us say, it comes to a matter of personal choice. However, the inclusion of Kangana Ranaut is more likely even though it was Vidya Balan who starred in the prequel.

Arshad Warsi, who was a part of the prequel, feels that it should be Kangana Ranaut in the sequel. Kangana was his co-star in the film Double Dhamaal. It is expected that, however, the other prominent stars like, Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi will remain in the sequel as well.

More than anyone else, it is Arshad Warsi who wants Kangana in the film. According to one source, it is he who has recommended her name to the people who matter like the director and the producer. The director of the film is Abhishek Chaubey while the producers are Vishal Bharadwaj and Ketan Maroo.

However, Kangana Ranaut has really established as a competent actress after the success of her two films Tanu Weds Manu and the more recent Double Dhamaal.

A last word from Kangana – the director and the producer of the film has approached her for the role in the sequel. There is no final decision yet, so keep tuned in for more.

Udita Goswami completes the script of her film

Udita Goswami has been toying with the idea of writing for a long time now. However, she has admitted that writing is not that easy. She started writing and then got confused to stop it. However, she was not the one to be stopped. She got back with a vengeance and has gone on to complete the script of her forthcoming film.

There is Naseeruddin Shah in the film and Udita has written the film keeping the senior actor in mind. Along with that, she also said that she did not think of anyone else while writing the script apart from her. She is coming to the end of the script and said that she would show it to Naseeruddin Shah when it is over.

As a writer, Udita said that it cannot be about the success of the film every time. it seems that Udita has grown as a writer a tad too early.
