The upcoming film on Milkha Singh could be one of those to start off.It was first thought that the protagonist in the film could be Akshay Kumar. Milkha Singh himself felt that Akshay Kumar is the best bet for playing his character. He is a Punjabi and has the right physique for such a role. Milkha also said that Akshay acts well.
However, apart from Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan was also being considered seriously for the role. There were reports about the same in various channels of the media. But it seems that the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara star has come first in the race by defeating both Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan.
The film is to be directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and is titled Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. It is expected that the shooting of the film will start only in the next year.
