The driver of
item girl Poonam Jhawar has robbed her of Rs. 4 lakhs in cash. The incident has
taken place around 15 days ago. According to the details furnished by Poonam
Jhawar in her complaint, the driver, one Purab Singh is the culprit. This person
originally comes from Nepal.
In spite of
repeated warnings and reminders from the police, there are loads of residents
in the western suburbs who have failed to furnish the details of their domestic
helps to the police. That makes the works of these domestic helps easier when
it comes to committing crimes.
The police
department has done its work long ago. They had sent notices to various housing
society’s around that the residents should give all the detailed information
about their servants. However, all this seems to have fallen on deaf ears. There
are lots of people who have domestic helps but the records of the same do not
exist with the police.
The incident
took place when the lady had to catch an urgent flight. So before going to the
airport, she asked her driver to keep the money home as she was running short
of time and could not go home personally. This is when the driver, who is
employed for the past three years with Poonam Jhawar ran away with the money.
