Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla to buy a racing team

Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla are all set to become the co-owners of yet another sports team, this time in the racing league. It will a Mumbai team. The husband of Juhi Chawla, Jay Mehta is also one of the partners. The Indian Racing League is the latest launched leagues and SRK is targeting this league as well.
It is expected that the cost of the entire team is around US $20 million. The league is also recognized as the i1 Super Series. The contract for the SRK-Juhi team will be for at least fifteen years, the reports are saying. The Machdar Motorsports Company will be promoting the league.
The inaugural racing competition will be held in January next year. The race will start from January 8 and culminate on February 26, 2012.
It is very astounding to know that SRK will be investing such a huge amount of money in the sport that has yet not taken off in India. The Kolkata Knight Riders are not performing well in the IPL. Moreover he has also invested in this team as well.
Reports are also doing the rounds that ace cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is also a shareholder in the league. Unconfirmed reports say that, Tendulkar holds around 26% stake in the business with his friend Anjana Reddy.
Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi are the eight cities that will have racing teams.
