Bollywood’s very own Alia Bhatt has German connections, but in
what way? Her upcoming film Highway will be premiered in Germany. And she certainly
has an emotional connection with this. The film will be premiered during the Berlin
connections.
This is the first journey for Alia to Germany. So, is that
the emotional connect that she is traveling to the country for the first time? Well,
not really. As a matter of fact, Alia’s grandparents come from Germany. And the
first ever trip to Berlin for the premier of her film is making Alia even more
excited.
Adding to the ‘unknown fact’, Alia said that “Not many know
this but my grandmother is a German and was born there.” So, this will
certainly be a reason for the new Bollywood leading lady to be on cloud nine. Elaborating
more about her grandfather, Alia said her maternal grandfather ran a secretive
newspaper against Hitler.
