Vindu Dara Singh, son of the late Dara Singh feels that politics
has ruined cricket. The small time Bollywood actor was in the news in last year’s
IPL (Indian Premier League) betting scam. As far as the betting and his any
alleged role are concerned, Vindu Dara Singh keeps himself away from such
things now.
According to the report of the Mukul Mugdal Committee, Vindu’s
friend Gurunath Meyiappan was a part of the CSK’s (Chennai Super Kings) management
for 2013. Along with some other prominent faces, Vindu Dara Singh was also arrested
by the police.
Vindu was arrested for his alleged links with bookies. The involvement
of Gurunath Meyiappan hasn’t come as a shock to Vindu. He says that the reports
of the Mukul Mugdal Committee don’t make it any different for him. Vindu, who
is out on bail says that he didn’t have anything to do with those things
(betting).
In his own words, “All these controversies have taken a toll
on the game. India is not performing well in the game. Politics has ruined
cricket.”
