The lives of film stars have always been a matter of great
interest to their fans, especially the private life. Salman Khan has been on a
high since his films like Ready, Bodyguard, Dabangg and Ek
Tha Tiger have all crossed the Rs. 100 crore-mark at the box office. No
wonder, he is the highest taxpayer in Bollywood today.
Salman Khan is said to have paid advance tax of around Rs. 8
crores in July-September already. In the previous for the same duration, he had
paid a tax of Rs. 5 crores. As explained the reason is that he has had four
films that have crossed the Rs. 100 crore-mark.
Paying this amount has made Salman the highest taxpayer in
Bollywood. The figures are said to have emerged right from the tax officials.
So, they are worth believing. Salman Khan’s latest film Ek Tha Tiger had
a huge collection of Rs. 198 crores.
The leading lady of Ek Tha Tiger – Katrina Kaif is
known to have paid Rs. 2.70 as tax as against the Rs. 1.70 crores she paid in
the previous year.
