Sonam Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor were guest competitors on the immensely popular and famous quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) to promote their upcoming film Mausam. The episode was telecast yesterday – Thursday September 1 on Sony Entertainment Channel. Sonam Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor are cast as the leading pair for the first time.The Kapoors donated the amount they won to a charitable organization called Umeed. This organization has been founded by a wife of an Air Force officer. Incidentally, Shahid Kapoor plays the character of an Air Force officer in the film. The film is the directorial venture of Shahid Kapoor’s father and the seasoned actor Pankaj Kapoor.
Both Sonam Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor had a gala time on the show. They talked about their film and the shooting experiences. The audience and the contestants present during the shoot of the episode did not let the opportunity go when they had Sonam Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor on the show.
