After Priyanka Chopra who showed her singing skills, it is
the turn of Alia Bhatt to do the same. But believe what you hear. Alia does
sing and she sings very well indeed. The newbie in the industry has sung the
song ‘Sooha Saha’ that is composed by none other than A R Rahman himself.
The song is from the film Highway. Alia says that singing has
been of the best experiences that came her way totally unexpected. Speaking
about it further, she said that she knew that she would manage to act anyhow,
but singing was something totally different.
On a lighter note she said that if she fails as an actor,
singing will be the other option that will remain open for her. Alia added that
she didn’t do many rehearsals. As far as the Mozart of Madras is concerned,
Alia said that Rahman Sir was pretty patient with her singing.
The film Highway is directed by Imtiaz Ali and will hit the
theatres on February 21.
