One of the most talented actresses in Bollywood Vidya Balan
is one of the recipients of the Padma Shri awards that were conferred on the
occasion of the Republic Day on Sunday. Vidya has delivered many hit films in
the recent past and the award of Padma Shri is one that befits her
achievements.
Another Bollywood actor, Paresh Rawal also received the award
this year. There is no doubt that the leading lady of Bollywood was pretty much
ecstatic when she heard the news. Speaking about the award, Vidya said that the
entire developments look unreal.
She further added that she was in Mumbai shooting for the
film Bobby Jasoos. When the news broke there on the sets, it was time for a
brief celebration. The family members of Vidya also celebrated the occasion and
had a little get-together.
Vidya didn’t forget to mention that she never imagined that she
would ever be rewarded with an honor like the Padma Shri.
