Kareena Kapoor will be seen as a new brand ambassador of yet
another product – the Tetley Tea. The Tata Global Beverages Ltd is the owners
of this British tea brand.
This is the launch of the green tea and an effort to reach out
to the smaller towns and markets. Kareena Kapoor will play an important role in
the re-launch of the green tea for the company as they are banking on her
popularity to gain more market share.
The information was given by Vikram Grover, who is the vice
president for India and South Asia for Tata Global Beverages marketing. There is
no doubt that the company is taking the re-launch seriously as they have roped
in one of the top Bollywood actresses today.
There is enough stress on marketing and for that the company
has done a good sort of investment. However, the amount invested hasn’t been
disclosed. But it is certain that they will reach out through all the possible
media – the print, TV and digital.
The tea is sold in as many as 40 countries with six various
flavors.
