Bhaag Milka Bhaag has won awards at the Filmfare Awards and
has been chosen as the best film. Apart from this, there are two other ‘best’
awards credited to the film. These two are in the ‘the best actor’ and ‘the
best director’ category. The film is based on the athlete Milkha Singh.
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has directed the film, while the lead
role has been played by Farhan Akhtar. The list of the awards won by the film
does not end here. The film also won an award for the best costume by Dolly
Ahluwalia as well as the best production design by Acropolis Design.
The best lyrics also went for Bhaag Milka Bhaag for the song ‘Zinda’,
which has been written by Prasoon Joshi. Deepika Padukone was the best actress for
her role in Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra hosted the show that was
attended by stars like Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha amongst many
other stars.
