Writer and director of Kamasutra 3D Rupesh Paul will be suing
actress Sherlyn Chopra for a sum of Rs. 5 crores. According to the director, Sherlyn
defamed him as well as the movie in public. He further added that Sherlyn used
abusive language on the social sites (probably where the messages were posted).
The actress could be possibly booked under sections 415, 417,
418, 499, 500 and 503 of IPC (Indian Penal Code). Apart from that the director
also intends to book the actress under sections 1860 and section 66 A of the
Information Technology Act.
The notice is dated for January 15 this year. She had
declared in a forum that she had quit the film. If reports are to be believed,
she has been using offensive language against Rupesh Paul and has a chain of
tweets as well. One of the pictures shows her with her middle finger up, is certainly
targeted at the director.
There is still no word from Sherlyn on the legal notice that
the director is planning against her. Her side of the story is awaited.
