Salman Khan’s Verdict in Hit & Run Case on May 6

Salman Khan’s verdict in the infamous hit and run case will be pronounced on May 6. The Bollywood actor has been involved in the case almost 13 years ago. The incident had taken place in the year 2002, in which one person succumbed to his injuries and four were injured.
The announcement of the verdict to be declared on May 6 was finalized today when the arguments were over. Pradeep Gharat was the public prosecutor in the case, while Shrikant Shivade was the defense lawyer of Salman Khan.
The actor has been booked under the section 304 II, which in simple words mean, culpable homicide not amounting to murder. This means Salman Khan can face up to 10 years in jail. He has also been booked under section 279 – rash and negligent driving.
The case has seen many ups and downs and twists and turns. One of the latest in the case was accepting the responsibility of the accident by the actor’s driver.
It remains to be seen, what verdict the court pronounces in next month’s verdict.
