Dilip Kumar had to be hospitalized at the Lilavati Hospital & Research Centre last night. Upon checking by the doctors, it was found
that he has been suffering with pneumonia. One of his close friends said that the
actor is okay now and that he is being given doses of antibiotics.
Udaya Tara Nayar, the actor’s close provided this
information. He also added that Mr. Dilip Kumar was responding to the treatment
and is recovering. As he is doing well, he was not kept in the ICU, but in the
general ward. He also had his breakfast this morning.
As far as Udaya Tara Nayar, their family friend, is
concerned, has also compiled the autobiography of the veteran actor titled The
Substance and the Shadow.
Some days ago, there were rumors doing the rounds in the media
fiercely that the actor had passed away. This news had to be terminated by Amitabh
Bachchan himself coming out in the open refuting the rumors. This is the second
time that Dilip Kumar had to face such death rumors.
