After being released from the rehab center, actress Shweta Basu
Prasad has got a clean chit in the prostitution case. The clean chit was given
by a Hyderabad court – the Nampally sessions court.
The clean chit to the actress was given by the court
yesterday – on Saturday. The advocate of the actress said that though she was
alleged to be involved in the flesh trade, there was no such evidence against
the Makdee actress. For this reason, the court ordered her to be freed and that
too minus any charges.
Speaking about the court order in her favor, Shweta said that
the court order has given her a great amount of satisfaction. She also added
that this has been a great relief for her and her family. Her parents are also
feeling happy for her now, she said.
On October 30, the court ordered her from the rehab center. After
she was freed, she was permitted to live with her brother and mother. She was
arrested a few weeks before that in a compromising position and was in the
company of a pimp.
