VJ Shenaz Treasurywala has written an open letter to India Prime
Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, cricketer Sachin Tendukar, Bollywood stars like
Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. The letter has
also been sent to industrialist Anil Ambani.
In the letter, Shenaz Treasurywala speaks about fighting rape
in the country as well as sexual harrasement. The letter also mentions the
recent rape of a young woman executive in Delhi in a cab. She has also talked her
own experiences as a lady.
She mentioned that as a teenager she was also harassed in a
marketplace, then when she was a college student. To top it all, there also was
sexual harassment for her when she was modeling and also as an actor. There were
also attempts of sexual assault on friends and family that were survived.
Shenaz Treasurywala has been seen in movies like Delhi Belly
and Hum Tum. One of her latest films now releasing is Main Aur Mr Riight. She will
be seen with her small screen co-star Barun Sobti.
