The winner of India’s Raw Star Rituraj Mohanty now wants to
devote his entire time on playback singing. For the winner of the reality show,
singing is everything. The Odisha singer won the singing reality show that
carried a cash prize of Rs. 50 lakhs.
Apart from that, he also got a Maruti Suzuki Swift car and a
contract with the TV channel STAR Plus. Being a down to earth man, Rituraj said
that he would use the money for repairing his old house, which is built in mud.
Not many people know about this versatile singer from Odisha.
Not many know that he was sung close to 300 songs – 280 to be precise – before he
had even entered the show. The songs that he sung included songs from the genre
like romantic, dubstep and hard rock.
This shows that he is already braced up for more of pro
engagements. And his ambitions of winning a Filmfare award or IIFA award will be
a fulfillment of his endeavor in the field of music. His another wish is working
with ace musician like A R Rahman as well as Ram Sampath. And how can a list be
