Veteran actor Deven Varma, who acted innumerable films passed
away in Pune. He was 77. He was suffering from kidney failure and also suffered
cardiac arrest, according to the reports from IANS.
Deven Varma had a very unique sense of humor and timing. It showed
in his various films whenever he played the comic roles in his films. Some of
his most memorable films are Judaai, Andaaz Apna Apna and Dil To Paagal Hai. Another
of his unforgettable films is Angoor.
There is no doubt that a very accomplished actor has left a
big void in the entertainment field. Just recently, Bollywood had lost Sadashiv
Amrapurkar. And the death of Deven Varma has dealt a second blow to film buffs.
There were a host of condolence messages from the Bollywood fraternity
after the news of the death of Mr. Varma spread. Film makers like Vikram Bhatt,
Karan Johar and Madhur Bhandarkar were some of the early people send their
message.
Veteran actors like Alok Nath and Anupam Kher along with
actors of the current generation, Shreyas Talpade and Randeep Hooda were some
of the prominent faces to send their messages on the micro-blogging site
Twitter.
