As was expected of the Aamir Khan starrer Dhoom 3, the film
has emerged as the biggest non-holiday opener until now. The film is said to
have grossed more than Rs. 30 crores on the opening day itself. The earnings
are only from the Hindi version, it must be mentioned.
Taran Adarsh, who is a trade analyst, tweeted about the success
of the film that stars Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif in the lead apart from
Uday Chopra. The tweet further reads that in the international market Dhoom 3
is in the top five positionin various markets.
In the UK, the position of the film is four and in Australia and
New Zealand the film stands at number five. However, there are no details from
the United States yet. But figures will be very healthy there, it is expected.
The film is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and is the
third in the Dhoom series.
