Salman Khan has openly admitted that he and Shah Rukh
Khan cannot be best of friends like they were before. He was talking about various
things on the talk show Koffee With Karan. Salman talked about his relationships,
the competition in the business, about his marriage and of course, his
relationship with SRK.
The first episode of the show of a new season got
underway yesterday – Monday of Star World. Elaborating about the relationship Salman
said it was just a stroke of bad luck when one night things got worse and
couldn’t be mended for years.
He said that he went across and said “salaam alaikum”
to SRK during the party when the two hugged each other. Salman, on his part
said that he could have gone on to solve the matter the same night and sorted things
out. However, SRK didn’t reciprocate, Salman added.
It was around five years ago in 2008 that the two Khans
were engaged in a heated argument at the birthday party of Salman’s then
girlfriend Katrina Kaif. Things have been sour between them ever since.
