Sandeep Acharya, who was the winner of the Indian Idol 2
season passed away after an illness that resulted from jaundice.
The singer passed away on Sunday morning at 9 am. He was taken
to the Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon in New Delhi when his health looked to
deteriorate following the illness.
Sandeep had actually gone to Bikaner to attend a wedding
ceremony. However, it was there itself that his health worsened. His relatives
rushed him to the hospital. The doctors there proclaimed that the cause of the
death was because of the aggravated illness on account of jaundice.
The signer was just 29 years old and has left his wife and
one month old daughter behind him. Singers Shreya Ghoshal and Sonu Nigam tweeted
about the death of Sandeep Acharya and the brilliance he had in singing.
