The Marathi TV and film actor Vinay Apte passed away
yesterday – on December 7, 2013. He was 62 years old.
Apart from some prominent Hindi films like Satyagraha
last year, Aarakshan a couple of years back and Chandni Bar almost 12 years
ago, Vinay Apte featured in many Marathi films as well. Some of the films showcased
his talent as an actor.
He was suffering from low BP (blood pressure) and
was admitted to a hospital at around 8.30 in the night. He couldn’t sustain the
battle against death for a long time and finally breathed his last on Saturday at
around 5.45 in the evening.
After getting to know about his death, fans took to
Twitter to mourn the death of their beloved actor. Many artists and actors from
both Marathi and Hindi film industry voiced their condolences after hearing the
death of the veteran actor.
