In yet another rumor, Twitter was stormed with tweets about
the death of former thespian Dilip Kumar. However, the air was promptly cleared
by none other than Amitabh Bachchan himself and that too through Twitter.
Writing off the condolence messages to Dilip Kumar, Big B
said that there were false rumors about the veteran actor’s death. He even added
that, Sairaji – Saira Banu, Dilip Kumar’s wife had informed him of his well
being.
Just a few days back, Muhammad Yusuf Khan, Dilip Kumar’s
birth name, was seen at the wedding of Arpita Khan. He looked fit and fine
there. However, finally on Monday, after a prolonged illness, the senior actor
breathed his last at the Lilavati Hospital, of course, according to the rumors.
This is not the first time that anyone has played a prank on
Dilip Kumar and that too such a serious one. In September 2011, there was a
similar rumor that spoke of the actor’s death. Then it was his wife, Saira
Banu, who had come up with a public statement refuting the reports.
